Maggie Carey

Maggie Carey is an MD student at the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine. After participating in the Choosing Wisely STARS program in 2019, she joined the Costs of Care team as the Student Engagement Mentor. Ms. Carey’s current projects focus on designing and optimizing high value care curricula for early trainees. Her work has been featured in the Choosing Wisely Newsletter, and she is regularly invited to speak to medical students and resident physicians about patient safety, quality improvement, and high value care.
