Neel Shah MD, MPP

Dr. Shah is the Founder of Costs of Care and currently serves as Chairperson of the Board. He is an expert in designing, testing, and spreading solutions that improve health care. He practices as an OB-GYN at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and is also on faculty at Harvard Medical School and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He has written more than 50 peer-reviewed academic papers and contributed to four books, including as an author of Understanding Value-Based Healthcare (McGraw-Hill). Dr. Shah is listed among the ’40 smartest people in health care’ by the Becker’s Hospital Review.
