Leading Value-Improvement Programs on the Frontlines
INTRODUCTION TO LEADING VALUE–IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMS ON THE FRONTLINES
In this fourth collection we have focused on supporting the delivery of health care value in systems. We previously discussed how both organizational culture (module 8) and current predominant payment models (module 9) can contribute to low-value care. We will now turn our focus toward how you can address and improve value within our health systems. We will discuss frameworks and methods that can be used to lead value improvement programs, including a few examples of successful projects and approaches that you can use locally.
